Amazing House!

Our family had an amazing week. The house is gorgeous. We had plenty of room for 5 adults. The pool was great for the hot afternoons and the screened in porch was excellent for relaxing. We are already planning our next trip back!

Most Relaxing Vacation

We absolutely loved our time in St. Simons and this property was absolutely amazing - it was even nicer than represented in the photos. The home was extremely clean and laid out perfectly for sharing with another family. We all loved hanging out in the pool and screened in porch during the afternoon. This was our first visit to St. Simon Island and it was one of our favorite vacations so far. We definitely will be back and will definitely stay at this property again. Thank you!

Great Time and House was Amazing!

We would definitely rate this home a 5/5!  

We just returned from our family vacation at Village Retreat at SSI and it was perfect in every way!  The home is beautiful, spacious, and so comfortable.  We had children and grandchildren there and everyone had their own large private bedroom and bathroom.  The kitchen, dining, and living areas were also large, open, and provided easy flow for multiple families. The pool was great for the kids and adults alike.  We spent most afternoons and evenings unwinding by the pool as we prepared dinner on the grill.  An added bonus is the ample parking for several cars.  We have rented vacation homes at SSI for 25 years and this is by far the best we have ever had!!

Truly Amazing!

Family Vacation

Awesome

Our family loved the house. Having the swimming pool was such a treat. Late night swims were amazing.The screened porch was so relaxing to drink coffee in the mornings. We all fought over the bed swing! Could not have asked for a better week-we were sad when it was over!

Best of St. Simons

This was our family’s third stay, and we can’t say enough good things about this house. It is beautifully decorated, the kitchen is equipped with anything you need, the pool is great, and on and on. From the little things (a large stack of beach towels by the pool) to the big things (almost instant response to any question or need, as the caretaker Will lives nearby and handles any issue that arises), this house has it all. We look forward to returning soon!

Family Vacation 2019

This is a beautiful property with all the amenities. The property was clean and perfect for our family vacation. The location is great and within walking distance to SSI Village. Thank you for a wonderful VRBO experience! This was our first visit to St Simon's Island and Sea Island. We had a fabulous time! The house was beautiful and well-equipped to handle our extended family of 9. We enjoyed playing golf, lounging by the pool, putting puzzles together, walking to the pier shops and getting ice cream at Frosty's. Alan and Will (the property manager) were very helpful with all of their recommendations. Thank you!

Southern Paradise

We absolutely loved our visit to Village Retreat. The layout was perfect for our family and location was ideal. We parked our cars and rented a golf cart for buzzing to shops, restaurants, and beach all week. We all loved the pool and resting on the back porch. It was a vacation our family will always cherish. The perfect family vacay!

This home is perfect for a family vacation. We felt at home the moment we walked in the door. We had 8 adults, 2 grandchildren and a dog. Each family had their own bedroom and bath. And the great room had plenty of room for playing games and hanging out. We spend hours playing in the pool and enjoying the screened in porch. The home is just minutes from the beach, shopping and restaurants. And within walking distance for an ice cream treat. The beautiful kitchen made it possible to fix a delicious seafood supper when we chose to stay in for the evening. Will was just a call away when we had a question. He was very helpful, informative and pleasant to talk with. Our kids are still talking about what a great vacation we had in this beautiful home. What great memories we made! This is definitely a vacation rental we would love to go back to!

Exceptional Attention To Detail!

It has been said that the difference between something good and something exceptional is the attention to detail! And the meticulous care that went into the design, style, and comfort of the Village Retreat is stellar in every way! This home is filled with sunlight, designed with a focus on comfort, yet simple and clean in styling, and filled to the brim with eclectic art, abundant gathering spaces, thoughtful amenities, and every convenience you would expect in a home of this quality. We felt immediately 'at home.' The landscaping is welcoming, perfect for the coastal charm of the Village Retreat, and the pool was an added bonus for our three young grandchildren. We loved the proximity to the village, easy walking or biking distance to classic shopping, beach gear, and homemade Georgia Peach ice cream! Alan and Doug care very much for their property and the experience their guests have while visiting. It shows! And a shout-out to Will, the property manager, too, who is knowlegeable, quick and personable handling any detail. Our June 2019 vacation to The Village Retreat was our second visit and as last year, beyond expectations! Two family vacation perfection!

We are two families w 5 kids ranging from 3-9 between us. This house was perfect from booking to leaving. The pictures are accurate, the dual masters were well positioned and beautiful. When we had an issue (we had one minor one- the property manager and owner were on it very quickly). Our favorite part was the screened in porch and the giant island in the kitchen for food prep. The town, too, was walkable and had many good dining options. We hiked to the beach- and you could walk if you were feeling active. Definitely came as described and one of the best we have ever stayed in. We hope to come again!

Village Retreat is Perfect

Village Retreat always has everything to meet our St Simons Beach expectations. We are repeat visitors (and have another week already booked), so it’s obvious we love the house, location, and wonderful accommodations. The location is walkable to the village for meals or shopping, and convenient to beaches or off-island excursions. It is beautifully decorated, but also comfortably decorated...not overdone. We always use the pool, for which towels are graciously provided and, both young and old, use the hanging bed on the breezy screened porch. We spend every evening enjoying the cool breeze on the front porch to have a glass of wine, read, chat and revel in the quiet of the beautifully manicured neighborhood. The accommodations are great: from the dishes provided to the comfort of the beds. The owners of Village Retreat have provided everything necessary for a trouble-free vacation for adults and families with small children. Thanks!!

The very BEST!

Picked this fabulous house for our annual "couples golf week" (we have 4 couples) and were absolutely delighted! There were 4 wonderful BR's each with own bath--2 with king beds and 2 with 2 beds each. Also wonderful pool and huge screened porch. And it was so very clean--everywhere. The design and decor were outstanding. In addition, the contact for any problems (Will) was close and checked on us a couple of times. The outside grounds were also perfectly cared for and beautifully landscaped. The online photos look wonderful but do not do it justice. Our group has been doing this trip for many years and going through VRBO many times. This home, by far, was the best. If you are planning a trip to St. Simon's Island definitely look at this property.

Amazing house- even better than the pictures!

This is the best vacation house. It is so bright, spacious, comfortable, and clean. The huge open kitchen was great for our big group of 3 families. We loved the pool and screened porch. The big bedrooms with their own bathrooms were so nice too. The location was perfect- we easily walked or biked to town for fun playgrounds, restaurants, and daily ice cream. We also biked to east beach, which was a pretty and easy ride. Will (caretaker) was super friendly and around if we needed him (which we didn’t bc the house is so new and everything works perfectly). He recommended our bike rental shop and we did a fishing trip with Brooks who the owners had recommended and who was also great. Highly highly recommend this house- it is so great.

One of the best rentals on SSI!

We visit St Simons a few times a year and this is far and away our favorite house to stay. The owners and caretaker are very responsive and full of good advice. The house itself is immaculate, impeccably designed, maintained, and decorated. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to make Thanksgiving dinner. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the Village. We can't say enough good things about this rental experience! Hope the house is available again on our next trip!

Amazing home

This home is perfect for four couples. Four suites with full baths. The home is immaculately decorated and appointed. The open kitchen, dining and den area are great for socializing. The back porch with swing bed, the pool and grill all make for a great gathering place. Overall, we had a great experience at the home. We had no issue, but the caretaker Will was available if we had. From landscaping to every inch of the home it was perfect. The walk to the Village area didn’t take long. We all hope we have the opportunity to visit again.

Perfect Home for a Memorable Week in St Simons

Village Retreat is on our list of best stays ever!! It is a beautifully decorated beach home that has been carefully planned to be comfortable from the minute you arrive. The neighborhood is safe, attractive, quiet and welcoming, as well as, close to everything. Our family rented bikes and went to the playground and village for breakfast and ice creams. We took the short ride to the beach and enjoyed the salt-water pool every day. We grilled, we cooked, we did laundry and everything you could ever need or want is available in this gorgeous home, including fresh limes on the tree by the pool, should you desire a cocktail in the evening. The spacious open floor plan is light, airy, and tastefully beachy; perfect for families of all ages. A wide hallway runs through the house from the very pleasant front porch to the wonderful back screened porch with a bed swing complete with quilts, perfect for reading or napping. The bedrooms are spacious, the closets have plenty of room, and oh those marvelous showers! The upstairs bedrooms are secluded enough that children, or anyone, can sleep peacefully even if there’s a movie on downstairs. The home was spotless and, clearly, designed to be stress free for a beach vacation. The caretaker is around on a regular basis to attend to plants, pool, etc.; friendly, personable, helpful, but not at all intrusive. He is a native of the area so has lots of information, should you need it. As a frequent, familiar visitor to St Simons, I highly recommend this home and I will most definitely be back! Very welcoming

2018 Family Vacation

As a 3 generation family, with 8 adults and two infants, this house was perfect. Each couple had their own master suite and the additional space upstairs proved great for the babies. We loved the southern plantation feel so much we actually had professional family pictures taken at the house. The house included all the amenities we were looking for, most of all, the pool. We loved our location (just a few blocks away) from the village, the pier and the beach all within walking distance. This was our first trip to St. Simons Island and we all thought it was awesome. Our property manager, Will, was so accommodating to all of our needs.

Family Vacay A beautiful, spacious home.

Beautiful house, great location!

This is the second year we’ve stayed at this house- we love the layout, that there are two masters downstairs plus a hall bath, and everyone has their own bathroom upstairs as well. The pool and outdoor space is great and we loved having dinner on the screened in porch! My one suggestion is I would love it if they would add a lock to the top of the screen door heading out to the pool for extra security for those with little ones. The door does not lock currently, so we could not take our eyes off my toddler. The other thing worth noting for those with kids is that there is no bathtub, which could be a minor inconvenience but worth it in our opinion! We love this house- clean, well decorated and comfortable!

Great House

This was our second year staying at this home in St. Simons. It was just as special as last year! The open living area and the pool are perfect for families with young children. All TV's, appliances and the grill worked perfectly. The beds and pillows are quality....and comfortable. I also greatly appreciate that the grounds are so well-maintained and lovely. This home will not disappoint!

Four suites make this home perfect for couples or families who need plenty of space

We were sharing the house with my sister and an adult child and her husband along with their three small children. Having two days alone prior to their arrival, my husband and I really appreciated the lovely welcome basket complete with Prosecco and special treats. The home's location was perfect for our situation. It was an easy walk to the pier and on to Barbara Jean's Restaurant for her famous crab cakes, close to the bike path, and yet within a quiet residential neighborhood. The next door neighbor was friendly and any questions we had were readily answered by Will, the maintenance man / gardener / pool supervisor. I don't know who chose the furniture, art work, lighting, and accessories, but everything was thoughtfully selected - right down to the subtle hints of Georgia such as the centerpiece of cotton ball stems and the Eugenia Price books. The kitchen was so well appointed (compared to every other vacation home rental we had experienced prior) that we could easily have hosted a lovely party. I did "borrow" a couple of dashes from the available spices, so I repaid by leaving a new roll of aluminum foil. We were especially glad to have the large screened porch so that young swimmers could be supervised easily. There was also a second shady seating area on the opposite side. For those who wanted to bask in the sun, there were lounges and additional poolside chairs. We hope to have the opportunity to return to this wonderful property.

First impressions..WOW..lasting Impression..A Wonderful Week in Paradise

A family vacation and a family tradition was my mother’s wish when looking for places to stay in St. Simons. We’ve made this beautiful island a tradition over the years but as grandchildren grew the need for more room sent her looking for a bigger house that had everything we were looking for. Mom booked this property over a year ago and was very much looking forward to another beach adventure with the grandchildren. Unfortunately, we lost mom a few months ago but decided to enjoy this family vacation just as she wanted. The owners were wonderful about helping us maintain the booking and even had flowers for us upon our arrival. All we could say when we arrived was WOW! The pictures don’t do justice to this beautiful home, from the space, beautiful decor, pool and screened in porch...everything made our stay perfect. We served dinner for the kids every night at the huge island in the kitchen and the adults enjoyed their meals at the table in the screened in porch. The daybed swing was a hit with adults and kids alike. We did family pictures on the front porch and spent every day at the beautiful pool. We loved the two masters on the first floor for adults and two bedrooms upstairs for the kids. The house manager is always available and you can tell he takes pride in maintaining the property. Our only suggestion would be to anchor the dressers to the wall. They are top heavy and on separate occasions nearly fell on a child and an adult when pulling out clothes. We already plan to book again in the future to keep mom’s dream of family vacations a tradition. Thank you for making a bittersweet week one of the best vacations we’ve ever had!

Family Annual Vacation

More than expected,five star all the way, ample room for 11 with three children. Front and rear porches were great, pool area like a resort setting, family and kitchen area larger than expected and set up perfectly. The best secret is the location of the house, walk to the pier and easy short drive the east beach or king and prince. The week was prefect for all four family groups and would absolutely return. Will was great. Got permission to have Johnny Carino the great chef in from Brunswick highly recommend, kids gave us a surprise anniversary present and wouldn't have happened without owner’s approval...they are great!!!

Wonderful family vacation stay

Thank you for the great time we had in St. Simons. The house is just marvelous! It is the perfect location, very clean when we arrived and everything is new and tastefully decorated. The adults and our children spent most of the time in the screened porch and the pool. We could find all the cooking tools we need in your fabulous kitchen as we cooked all our meals there. Beautiful home with four master suites, walking distance to town.

We loved the house and working with Doug and Allen. There are four master suites, two up with two queen beds in each room and two down with king beds. A huge screen porch over looking the pool and a front porch. We ended up eating in three nights because how comfortable we were in the house. We walked to town and the beach. We rode bikes and golfed. The house was clean and well appointed. Will stopped by a few times to make sure we were OK and answer any questions.

Our family has been going to SSI for many years and this is the most exquisite rental anyone could ask for! When we arrived it was late and the front porch with beautiful ferns and gas lanterns were so inviting. Knew from the curb appeal we had scored a home run. Alan and Doug have thought of everything and even though it is beautifully decorated it is renter friendly. Our dogs and grandchildren loved it! We were there for Christmas and they even had a Christmas tree......it doesn't get better than that. Thank you Allan and Doug!

We definitely enjoyed our stay at this home! Loved how there was a big great room with the dining table, living room and kitchen all together. It felt very spacious and was great for entertainment purposes. The little patio deck in the backyard is an awesome place to just relax especially with it being screened from bugs and mosquitoes. The rooms and beds were all very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower changed from hot to cold quite a few times on us. But other than that, we would definitely recommend this place to anyone, especially large groups!

Perfect!

Ten long time high school friends visited SSI and your home for a week of sun, fun, laughter and adventure. We weren’t disappointed! The home was beautifully decorated, comfortable with lots of amenities and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, the pier and even tree spirit hunting. Great experience

This is a wonderful home that is well suited for a family trip or couples (4) getaway. The furnishings are not only attractive, but very comfortable! The screened in porch facing the pool was a delightful retreat after a day at the beach. There is also a gas grill as an extra bonus! Overall the house is very well maintained and with a courteous, efficient house-manager down the street. 👍_5 stars from my family👍_

Wonderful vacation home!

This house was perfect for our annual family vacation. Enough room for 6 adults and 4 kids. The layout of the home is wonderful. gorgeous- even better than the pictures!

This house is amazing. The location is great, within walking distance from mallery park and the pier village- with lots of good restaurants and shopping closeby! Everything was clean and just beautiful! you can tell that a lot of thought was put into the design of this house- The rooms are so spacious and the beds are comfortable. The pool and on the screen porch were our favorites! love that porch swing- it was perfect for reading a book during my kids naptime ;) The one thing I will note is there was no bathtub, which could be a downfall for parents of young children but the showers are AMAZING! Thanks for an amazing stay- We hope to be back soon!

Everything and more!

This home was everything and more. With 4 couples and 3 babies the 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath home with a pool was perfect! We only ended up at the beach 1 out of our 5 day stay because the the pool was so nice and convenient. The layout of the bedrooms was nice for the younger babies to be upstairs but even so the rooms were very were insulated and soundproof from the screened in porch and pool activities. Everything is just a hop, skip and jump away. We will definitely be looking into staying here again in the future!!!

Excellent Beach House, Immaculately Decorated

This was the perfect house for our annual family beach trip. It is beautiful, very well decorated house. We all really appreciated that it has high end furnishings. The house is large enough for 8 adults, 2 kids and a dog. Every couple had their own bathroom which was really nice. We had a great time spending afternoons by the pool and strolling to the Village for dinner.

Let me begin by saying this house is amazing. From the moment we pulled up, to the day we left, we were in love with this house. The open floor plan concept of the living room and kitchen made it a gathering place for all to enjoy. Outside, the landscape was beautiful. From the lemon, lime, and orange trees to the flowers it was gorgeous. The screened-in back porch was probably our favorite. We so enjoyed eating out there and swimming in the pool. Very rarely does a vacation house feel like home, yet this one did. Also this house is a geographical oddity...5 minutes from everywhere. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us.

Fabulous house!

This house was perfect for our family. The layout allows for privacy as well as several spaces for being together. Doug and Alan have thought of everything to make the house comfortable inside and outside, right down to the finest details. The furnishings and decor are inviting of very high quality . We enjoyed dinner several nights on the screened porch overlooking the large pool and often lounged on the comfy swinging bed. Gorgeous, well-maintained landscaping all around the house, especially the pool area. It was so nice for everyone to have their own (huge) bathroom, stocked with plenty of towels. The kitchen was incredible. The colors used throughout the house are soothing and it was SO clean. The location is very convenient (easy walk) to the pier village where you'll find shopping, restaurants and activities. We rented bikes from Island Bicycle Co., who we highly recommend (on Ocean Ave. across from Mullet Bay Restaurant). I had a few questions for Doug and Alan prior to booking and our arrival, to which I received prompt responses. Thank you for sharing your lovely and aptly named Village Retreat!

Utopia!

This is a special place. Great location and the home is so nice we simply enjoyed hanging out at the house. Our first impression was that the photos on VRBO do not do it justice. Spacious vacation rental perfect for large groups.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect for our large group (including 2 kids under 5 and one in a wheelchair). You will immediately be impressed by the well-designed kitchen/living area with upgraded features and beachy decor. The pictures simply don't do it justice. The well-stocked kitchen has everything you'll need. The upstairs bedrooms have large bathrooms big enough to hold a pack n play separating sleeping baby and parents. One of the best features is the screened in patio overlooking the pool. There's a nice park/playground a five minute walk away and the village is just a bit further. Will definitely return next year. Alan and Doug (owners) were very accommodating and promptly responded to our questions.

The house is beautiful! It's better than pictures show on-line. There were 7 of us that stayed in house and had two additional friends come over to eat a few times. Loved the House! Loved the location!

We were looking for a house where we, plus our three daughters and their families, could gather to celebrate my Mother's 95th birthday, and this house turned out to be perfect! The house is beautifully decorated, St. Simons casual, and the owners have made it very comfortable from the living room furniture, large bedrooms (everyone commented on the comfy beds) to the swinging daybed (what a great idea!) on the porch. The house is more spacious than it looks in pictures. The house was spotless and very clean which was important as we had a 10-month old grandson crawling around. The living room, dining area and large kitchen island gave us all the space we needed for the families to gather for the buffet, and the kitchen is very well stocked with dishes and cookware. The screened porch was the favorite place for everyone to gather and visit while the younger ones and children played in the pool (which is also bigger than it looks in pictures). A large brick patio has been added since pictures were made. The house is in a quiet, nice neighborhood and close enough to walk to the village with all the shops and restaurants (Georgia Sea Grille - favorite). We went to the art show in the village, cruised the shops, and took family pictures at the lighthouse and on the beautiful live oak trees in the park. The owners were very responsive to our initial inquiry and questions, and we could not be more pleased with our overall experience. We had a wonderful family weekend at St. Simons and everyone agreed that we would definitely rent this house again.

Great House Great island-Our First visit

We were so happy we found the house rented by Alan and Doug. They were very gracious and accommodating hosts. The house was absolutely impeccable and so clean. We have never seen a pool that keeps itself so clean like this one. The robot that cleans the pool was entertaining and productive! A great-sized pool too! Alan gave us some great tips over the phone of places to go! Great for first timers! The house is spacious, clean and close to the village which was awesome. This was our first trip here and we loved it. We have been to Hilton Head and Kiawah Island many times and stayed in many big houses. This is our new favorite. The entire island was quaint as well as the house. The very small minor issues we had at the house I only pointed out to make the owners aware of for future guests. I did not expect any action and did not request any action. However, the next day the issues were resolved! We could not have been more happier overall. One of our best vacations ever. Great home-Great Island, can't wait to go back!

Beautiful Home - Well Appointed

This home was beautiful and spacious. Decorated with attention to detail. The house, porches and pool are even nicer than the photos portray. The house was clean and well equipped. Dining room table easily accommodated eight adults. The pool and screened-in porch enhanced our vacation. Plenty of parking at the house. The residential neighborhood was quiet and walking distance to the town. The beach is a short drive away. We enjoyed playing pickleball at the nearby Kings Park tennis/pickleball courts on Mallery Street. Our family had a memorable vacation in this comfortable house. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. They obviously care about this lovely home. We would definitely return to this home if it is available.

Fantastic Home!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this new vacation home during the July 4th. week. We filled the house with my husband and me and our three grown sons and their families. Each family had a large bedroom with a private bath that gave them plenty of room. The large family room kitchen combination gave us space for family meals and time together. Although it was hot, we sat on the front and back porch because they were both so inviting.( The ceiling fans helped!) The swing bed on the back porch was a favorite for the ladies and the swimming pool kept the kids busy. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and eating. The house itself was beautiful and beautifully decorated. It was a short, shady walk to the Village which was especially handy during the holiday weekend. It was easy to work out the details with Doug. All in all, this is a fantastic home!

a wonderful stay in a beautiful home!! a perfect location to everything! close to the beach, groceries and the village with all the restaurants and shops! a beautiful home with a wide open floor plan which is great for large/family gatherings. we enjoyed the screened in porch and the pool daily. the only thing that needs to be stated on the website for the description is that all four bathrooms just have showers- no tubs. we had a one year old and this at first was going to be a problem, but she had her first experience with showers and she LOVED the outdoor shower :) so it all worked out, but i would just state only showers in the bathrooms. over all we could not have picked a better house!!! we want to do another family get together on the island next year and we will for sure book this if it is available. thanks for being a wonderful part of family memories on the island :)

Pure relaxation

We had a lovely long weekend in St. Simons. The home and pool were absolutely wonderful. So wonderful and comfortable we found it very difficult to tear ourselves away to visit the beach and local restaurants. The proximity to town was terrific and the neighborhood provided an opportunity for interesting walks.

Incredible is an understatement!

Our family of 8 (3 married couples and 2 children) enjoyed an incredible extended weekend experience in this home. This property met all of our needs with plenty of privacy to accommodate sleeping and bathing (4 bedrooms each with private bath), but the best part was the abundance of living space with the large open floor plan and porch spaces. We never felt cramped or crowded in any way. The home is beautifully decorated and the soothing color scheme invites relaxation! While the pictures are accurate in this listing, they can't capture the true essence and beauty of this home! The back porch and swimming pool were one of our favorite spaces and the porch swing bed was frequently occupied! Our family has stayed in other St. Simons properties with direct beach access in past years, but we chose this new property for the living space and we were not disappointed! The pier and village are nearby and beach access is just a short drive. The neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed morning and evening strolls. The owners were great to work with and provided all information requested. Overall. we could not have asked for anything more and we definitely hope to return again next year!

Perfect Vacation!

Our family has been visiting St. Simon's Island for a few years now and we are always trying to find a home rental that meets our needs. This home met our needs and then some! It was beautifully decorated, easily accessed from the Pier Village, and the pool didn't hurt either. Doug and Alan were very easy to work with and answered any questions that we had quickly. Your own vacation retreat!

I recently toured this beautiful home and was very impressed with the attention to detail in both the design and decorating! It's perfect for a large family or group with plenty of space for everyone. With comfy rooms inside and a great screened porch and pool outside, this home has everything you could want. Gorgeous Brand New Home... Close to everything! I had the opportunity to attend a house warming party at this beautiful house. This home has everything... great location, wonderful furnishings, sparkling pool, front porch, back porch (screened in) .... it is perfect! You can walk or ride a bike to the village. The beach is also a quick bike ride away. The neighborhood is quiet and very friendly. If you're looking for a relaxing and beautiful place to hang out with your family... this home would be perfect.

Lovely home and location!

Our family spent a lovely week in this beautiful home. Our 2 teenagers had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy their own space in the 2 comfortable sitting rooms. My son was especially happy that your fast internet allowed him to keep up with his gaming and streaming. My mom enjoyed being able to watch her shows on the TV in her room (each room has a large, new TV) with a private bathroom, and my husband and I loved the master suite with wonderful windows and spacious bathroom. The enclosed back yard was a perfect spot for our dogs to spend some time off leash and we also walked around the neighborhood, to the village, and out to the pier each morning. I would highly recommend this home to any family who is looking for an extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable home. The pictures on the site do not do it justice! Thanks so much for sharing your home with us - we loved our first visit to St. Simons Island and so appreciated the recommendation to bring bikes as they allowed us a fun way to explore. Comfortable and Charming House

This home offers a superb location and ideal floor plan. The ability to walk to the pier and the many amenities in the village is a real plus! Perfect walking right distance to village, quiet neighborhood and great for walking House has tons of space and kitchen is perfect spot for cooking and entertaining family & friends. A great place to stay!

We spent the Fourth of July week at Happy Days and thoroughly enjoyed the property. It was comfortable, well decorated, and had a large open space for visiting with our family. The location was great. Easy to access in a nice quiet neighborhood. It was a short SHADY walk to the pier. Doug was so easy to work with and that made our stay even nicer. It's a great place to stay!

Fantastic home!

We rented this home for a family reunion and it was perfect. Plenty of room so that we didn't feel on top of each other and with a bathroom for each room everyone had their privacy as well. It was great for small children and adults and the backyard was a great place for kids to run around. With the little ones we never made the walk to the village but it was a short simple drive and it worked out well for us. My son loved the outdoor shower! It was a highlight for him for sure. We look forward to staying again.
