How do I get to your location, what is the address?

For security reasons we do not publish our physical address on the site. Once we have a contract we will provide the address. In addition a Welcome Letter will be sent with check-in information.

How far is the nearest beach from your property?

Technically there is a beach on either side of the village pier at low tides…and that is just over a 1/2 mile walk. The best beaches with the most parking are probably near the coast guard station at East Beach…just under 2 miles away. There is plenty of free parking at this location.

Any good restaurant recommendations?

YES!! St. Simons has a good deal of excellent restaurants. A few favorites we like to walk to in the Village are Palmers (for breakfast and lunch), Iguanas (for lunch and dinner, if you are in the mood for fried wild GA shrimp), Mallory St. Cafe (for breakfast), GA Sea Grill (for dinner). Can I rent a bicycle or golf cart?

YES. One of the best ways to see and explore St Simons is on a bike. You can rent a bike at Island Bicycle in the Village. Golf carts can also be rented in the Village at High Tide Carts. You can walk to each of these locations.

Are there beach towels, beach chairs for taking to the beach?

No. We have an ample supply of pool towels located in the screened in porch. Likewise, we have plenty of outdoor chairs. However these items are to be used on Village Retreat property only and are not to be removed off site. We ask for guest to bring their own supply of beach items as every traveling group has unique needs.
